With my birthday coming up, Jen decided to buy me Fable 2. This is the story of Sparrow, the female hulkish hero.

I kept the name 'Sparrow' for two reasons. The other names sucked, and for some reason I was singing 'I'm like a bird'.

Day one.

Today I left the Gypsy camp. Not because I was asked to leave, but because I had just killed everyone.

Day twenty.

I finally decided to stop playing soccer with heads and kill the bandit Thag. I wanted to join him at first, but he was a brute. So I killed him, and bought his house. The house now has four children living in it.

Day Sixty.

A bunch of other stuff happened, most of it my fault. I walked from Oakfield to the Temple of Shadow selling off all the citizens. I then sacrificed one of my many wives to the diety, and got a pretty lame sword.

I could go on....

I dyed the 'Hot Date' clothes black with red trim, and now I'm this hulking black beast with horns, that shows off her black scaly legs and chest. Somehow she's attractive, because men keep falling in love with her.

I can just imagine her saying "Me want Snoo Snoo!".

Also, I spread crabs across the entire town of Bloodstone. There should be an achievement for this.

I didn't like Fable 2 very much, actually. But I heard great things about the first one, and I'm looking to try it.

In Fable 1, there's only two paths to take, the good and the evil. Just getting the villagers to the temple of Skorn was a hassle, and even then I was already the maximum evil I could be.

Fable 2 has the ability to take people with you when you teleport, and it took nearly thirty peasants for me to turn evil, along with completely destroying Oakfield.

A lot of stuff has been improved, I like the new targeting system, dying clothes was a nice touch, choices make more of an impact over the years, the dog can pee on someone I don't like...

Also, Fable 2 is two player.

A couple things I didn't like were how there were no decent looking men in the game. If I wanted a girl, I'd marry Lady Gray, or a barmaid in Brightwood. If I wanted to marry a man, there was hardly any good ones. Right now my She-Hulk is married to a pompous man nicknamed 'Man Bitch'. He sounds like a pervert, all the time. I'm almost afraid to leave him alone with Anna.

Speaking of which, Anna is my favorite. She lives on the homestead. Her favorite things are Playing Dead and Wraithmarsh. She doesnt have a third like, but if she did, it would be 'Death & Destruction'. I wouldn't even be surprised if I come home one time and she brutally murders a villager for bumping into her.

My skin is burned black and cracking, with fire and lightning pouring out of my veins. Why would I not want to reproduce as much as possible?

A couple other dislikes: Annoying dog, children that are not mine, bards, beetles, poor townsfolk complaining about my overpriced housing/food/pubs...

I disliked how I couldn't kill children with my sword.

I played this today with Pest.

We did many a thing. One of them was to battle in the Colosseum. I charged slow time spells while Pest went big game hunting with his rifle.

Some other things: Found all but 2 of the gargoyles, spent three hours looking and couldn't find them.

Complaints:

Why can't I drink half of the sex change potion, to become a hermaphrodite?

I dyed my hair, equipped completely different weapons, changed clothes, used the sex change potion and people STILL RECOGNIZE ME.

Please don't proposition me in front of Claire. She is but a wee little child.

Please don't ask for a ring in front of my wife.

I took a person into the deepest cave in the farthest possible town away from where you lived, killed you, and when I returned everyone called me a murderer. How did they know?

Claire ran off into the Hobbe Cave to kill things. Why couldn't I give her one of my spare guns?

I've ALWAYS hated fable, its on of those games you play once and beat and your done.

sure you can play it over and do it the evil or good way, but who gives a damn you already played it and not much has changed

I don't agree with basing love or hate entirely off the replay value. Games like Final Fantasy and other RPG's are only good once through, but that one playthrough is worth it. Some of the best games in the world have 0 replay value.
