I be level 50 who on God's green Earth came up with that?! I mean do you really think it's that easy well it's not I join Dead Frontier in 08 and I'm not even halfway to 50!I don't understand how you guys do it.... D:<

He thought he was going to be kicked out for not meeting the new requirements to be in
the clan, but he was already accepted before the changes were made. He just had a bit
of a freak out.

Wesk, we accepted him before the level was hiked from 25 to 30, it'd be unfair to make
him leave now, just because he's not reached the requirements, and if that's the case,
I'd have to leave too, cause im only level 41.

It takes a little bit of dedication.

Honestly, 50 was barely hard. I got enough exp to level 3 accounts to 50 in a day before, and enough to do it 7 times since I hit 50. If you just dedicate a day or two to DF, you should be a hell of a lot closer.

But Dead Frontier is a boring fucking game. Seriously. I hit level 81 back in April and have not touched it since. Because it is so fucking boring.

You really shouldn't ever think it hard, just very time consuming.

No one stated it here, Kanden, but Mikhail was very concerned about the fact. I'm
merely trying to console and reassure him. It's harder for those who don't have a
great connection to level. It's especially hard in 3D considering how many changes
have been made to the enemy roster. Hell, I have problems anymore. That's what
happens when you take a melee heavy build into a dead frontier where half the
rogue's gallery can hit you form afar or make it too dangerous to melee.

Bad connection in DF? I've only ever experienced that in MP.

You guys turn that off, right?

Also, I haven't tried it as of late, but on the first day of the new zombies, melee was definitely underpowered.

By bad connection, I mean internet speeds lower than broadband, otherwise you will incur
lag. I do tend to turn off MP, but it kind of sucks that you have to play a multiplayer game
alone just because the game fucks up in multiplayer. Melee is still under powered. It's not
impossible to play using melee, but its incredibly difficult when you take into consideration
that so many zombies now come with projectile or long-ranged melee attacks.

In 2D we had only one long-range threat and that was longarms. Now we have 3 zombies,
boss and otherwise that can straight up puke at you from long ranges. We have 3 that
explode upon death, inflicting severe damage to anyone within melee damage, and at least
4 that have longer than average melee range.

DF as it is right now is not a fair playing field for melee'ers like me. Our best weapon, the
chainsaw, is worthless and our other weapons are barely worth having around anymore.

Oh and I just read that the Experience needed to level is x2 higher than it was before. I'd
say this is in preparation to the release of missions. It's not hard but its not a cake walk like
you guys are making it out to be.

MP should always be off in DF, no exceptions, it really is the standard. I know that there's nothing for you to do when you have a bad internet connection, but if you play with MP on for any reason other than playing with a friend for a little while, you're probably a masochist.

agreed.

as for levelling, its about a million times faster in 3d than it was in 2d, even without missions. well, previously. with the new update its going to slow somewhat post-30, but you can still get a new account to level 20 in a couple of hours, then a couple more hours to get to 30.

levelling should be a side effect of playing really, something that happens while out looting, not something separate you need to make an effort at- tho outpost attacks are there if you can be bothered with them (personally i cant, i loathe OA in 3D)

which outpost are you at anyway?

to survive around the fort you only need about 70 agility, and the quicker you get there the quicker you will earn XP and money. agility is the most important stat for not getting killed, if you hadnt already worked that out, so neglect it at your peril. in my opinion, spending points anywhere else before you have 100 agility and required critical is just shooting yourself in the foot. each level comes slower than the one before, so the faster you acquire the speed to survive in red zone the better.
